Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Danladi Jatau, has doled out N6 million and distributed 1100 wrappers to rally support for President Bola Tinubu, Sen. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, APC Governorship candidate, Nasarawa State and all other APC candidates to succeed in 2027.
Dr Jatau, who represents Kokona West constituency made the donation during a Marathon APC stakeholders meeting he organized in Kokona LGA today in Garaku.
It would be reported that the meeting brought together elected and appointed political office holders from national, state and LG levels in the area including the 11 Ward officials.
Jatau said that he decided to organized the meeting in order to unite APC stakeholders and members as well as discuss way forward for the victory of the party in 2027.
The Speaker warned against anti-party activities while calling on all hands to be on deck among APC stakeholders for the victory of the party in 2027.
“Let’s come together to work as a family. APC is our party and we will win in 2027 by God’s grace.
“Kokona LGA is known as APC Local Government, let’s mobilise support in our various units and wards for the victory of APC in 2027.
“I decided to hold on after primaries to see what will happen and from the reports I gathered, there is betrayers among APC members in this Local Government.
“If you are for APC, work for APC, If you worked for me and I did not win the APC ticket for House of Representatives, You have no reason not to support my brother, Hon. Daniel Oga Ogazi to succeed as our House of Representative member in 2027 and other APC candidates.
“So I urge you all to vote for President Tinubu, Sen. Wadada and all APC candidates during the 2027 general elections” he said.
“Today, I am donating 1100 wrappers to the 11 wards of Kokona Local Government where each ward will go home with 100 wrappers and N6 million to my constituents.
Jatau also called for forgiveness among APC stakeholders for the victory of the party in the area and the state at large.
“Let’s have the spirit of forgiveness for the unity, peace, progress and development of the party” he added.
He appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for approving the construction of Bassa road in order to boost agricultural and socio- economic activities of the people of the area.
Dr. Jatau further commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for the good work he is doing in the state.
The Speaker enjoined the people of the area to shun ethnic and religious politics and to live in unity and peace irrespective of their affiliations.
Also speaking, Hon. John Mamman, Commissioner for Education, Hon Mek Agbawu Mek, the Chairman of Kokona LG, Mr Sulaiman Sarki, the Chairman of APC of Kokona LG, ward Chairmen in the area, Hon. AbdulKarim Gona, Speaker, Kokona Legislative Council, Mr Joel Olugbo, a Stakeholder, Hon Jamila Sarki, former Commissioner in the State, among others assured of their commitment to mobilize support for the victory of the party in 2027.
They called on the people of the area to support all APC candidates to succeed in 2027.
They also urged the people of the area to shun ethnic and religious politics.
Besides, they lauded Gov. Sule for constructing roads and other projects in the area.
Speaking on behalf of APC Candidates in the area, Hon. Daniel Oga Ogazi, APC Candidate, House of Representatives for Karu/Keffi/Kokona appreciated Speaker Jatau for his love And support towards the victory of the party in the area.
He assured of the candidates readiness to provide quality representation, if voted in 2027.
Hon. Ogazi solicited for the support of all and sundry to enable them and other candidates of APC win their elections in 2027.
Earlier, Mr. Jacob Terry Bado, APC Chairman, Kokona LG said that the meeting was at the instance of Dr. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
He called for forgiveness and unity among stakeholders for the victory of the party in 2027 general elections.
The APC chairman also called on the people of the area to support all candidates of APC during the 2027 general elections
