Nigerian Striker Ademola Kuti Joins Inter Wanica on Two-Season Deal

Nigerian professional footballer Ademola Kuti has joined Suriname Major League side Inter Wanica on a two-season contract ahead of the 2026/28 season.

The experienced striker is expected to strengthen the club’s attacking options and contribute his wealth of experience as Inter Wanica prepares for the new campaign.

Kuti brings considerable international experience to the Surinamese club, having played professional football in several countries during his career. He previously featured for SV Transvaal in Suriname before making the move to Inter Wanica.

According to his transfer history, Kuti has also represented a number of clubs across Africa, Asia and the Middle East, including Lobi Stars, Fujairah SC of the United Arab Emirates, Punjab FC, Aryan FC, Hearts of Oak, AS Sonidep of Niger, DC Virunga of the Democratic Republic of Congo, SV Transvaal of Suriname. OSK Igalo / Montenegro and FC Kobrin / Belarusian.

The Nigerian forward also had a spell in Dubai, where he reportedly worked under the late Argentine football legend Diego Maradona.

His return to Suriname marks a new chapter in his professional career, with Kuti expected to play an important role in Inter Wanica’s campaign in the Suriname Major League (SML).

The club welcomed the Nigerian striker and expressed optimism about the experience and attacking quality he brings to the squad.

Kuti, meanwhile, begins the new chapter with renewed ambition as he looks forward to making an impact with Inter Wanica during the 2026/28 season.
