The Centre for Public Service Productivity and Development (CeProd) has inducted 23 distinguished professionals into its growing network of productivity experts at its April 2026 Membership Induction Ceremony.
The newly inducted members include 21 Fellows (FCP) and two Associate Members (ACP), drawn from Nigeria, the UK, and U.S. representing sectors such as academia, energy, finance, public administration, and consulting.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Centre’s Media Officer, Mr Nelson Bassey and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja.
According to Bassey, the inductees include Prof. Oseni Taiwo, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University, Prof. Amah Edwinah, Prof. Taiwo Olaiya, Dr Joseph Osazuwa and Dr Noyo Anthonia Kubeyinje-Edem from the UK.
Others were, Aghomi Ngozi Ijeoma from the U. S. and senior executives from NNPC, Diageo North America, and Citi Bank USA.
The Director-General of CeProd, Dr Chris Egbu delivered a keynote induction lecture titled “How to Increase Your Income Through Smart Productivity Strategies” where he emphasised that productivity, not effort, is the true driver of income growth.
According to Egbu, income is directly linked to productivity and measurable value, not activity or time spent.
“Also, smart productivity focuses on doing the right work, at the right time, with the right systems and professionals must identify high-impact activities that generate 80% of their income.
“Eliminating low-value tasks and building systems is essential for scaling income and performance and increasing personal value through skills and specialization leads to higher earnings.
“Daily prioritisation and disciplined execution are critical to sustained productivity growth,” the statement added
It challenged members to rethink productivity from an income perspective, stressing that productivity is the bridge between effort and results, and that real growth comes from applying productivity principles consistently.
It further noted that CeProd members gain access to a robust digital productivity library with over 200 resources, global networking opportunities, and structured systems designed to accelerate professional and organisational performance.
The statement also noted that some members of the Governing Council, Dr Kelechukwu Abel and Dr Solace Akade, reiterated the Centre’s commitment to building a productive nation through capacity development, research, and professional certification.
According to the statement, CeProd continues to position itself as a leading institution advancing productivity excellence across public and private sectors, with a fast-growing global membership base. (NAN)
