Ezhiba Community in Nasarawa State, has appealed to Gov. Abdullahi Sule to construct Ezhiba/Akpata road in order to improve on the standard of living of the people of the community and its environs.
Chief Danlami Umbugadu, the Aren Ezhiba made the appeal when he led critical stakeholders and other members of the community on a courtesy visit on Dr Ismaila Garba Adigizi, Administrator, Akun Area Administrative Council today in his office in Akpata.
Umbugadu said that the construction of the road would boost agriculture and the socio- economic activities of the people of the area.
” This road is in bad shape, our people and other people are suffering while plying the road.
” We want to appeal to His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule to construct our road to improve on our standard of living ,” he said
Umbugadu also appealed for the employment as well as appointments of sons and daughters of the community into different government positions in the state.
He further assured the Governor and the Administrator of their loyalty and support to succeed.
Also Speaking, Hon Lami Martina Bako, former Speaker of Akun Development Area, Mr Charles Jatau Shari, a retired Director, State Ministry of Education, Chief Awayi Kuje, the Special Adviser to ECDA President on Media and Publicity and Mr Umbugadu Angbashim, Ezhiba ECDA Chairman also appealed to the Governor to come to the aid of the community by constructing the community road among other infrastructure.
They assured the Governor and the Administrator of their support at all times.
Responding, Dr Ismaila Garba Adigizi, the Administrator of Akun Area Administrative Council appreciated the community for the visit and assured them of support and partnership for the development of the community.
He also assured them of all inclusive leadership for the unity, peace and development of the community and the area at large.
He expressed optimism that President, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and All Progressives Congress ( APC) would win the 2027 election with a landside victory.
” Let’s continue to support His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov. Abdullahi Sule and APC government at all levels to succeed.
” This is to enable us enjoy more dividends of democracy.
” His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC will win the 2027 general elections with a landside victory ,” he added.
The Administrator assured of his readiness to initiate good policies and programmes that would have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the community and others.
Dr Garba has called on the people of the community to support their son, Chief Awayi Kuje for the progress and development of the community.
” Zaki, stakeholders and all of you here and others, please hold Chief Awayi Kuje firm as he is an asset to the community and he will bring speedy development to the community,” he added
