Member representing Nassarawa Eggon West Constiuency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abel Yakubu Bala has organized and sponsored Sing Song Competition for 36 Local Church Councils (LCCs) of ERCC, Mada Station, Nassarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the State.
Abel disclosed this while declaring open the Sing Song Completion held at Regional Church Council (RCC) Headquarters, Mada Station, Nassarawa Eggon LGA of the State today Friday.
It would be reported that the competition was titled “Rt. Hon. Abel Yakubu Bala SIng Song Competition for 36 LCCs of RCC Mada Station”
Rt. Hon. Abel said that the essence of the Sing Song Competition was to provide a platform for the women to praise God, showcase and develop their talents, gain exposure, experience and to foster unity, peace and sense of togetherness.
According to him, I sponsor this Sing Song because singing is considered as a vital form of worship and prayers. It is good to sing praises to our God Almighty.
“Songs are ways to express love, gratitude, and reverence to God, fostering personal relationship with him.
“Let’s take it so serious to the glory of God as the importance of songs in praising God cannot be overemphasized.
“There is spiritual connection with God through songs” he said.
Abel, the Deputy Majority Leader and Chairman House Committee on Education said that the event was also organized to promote unity, peace and sense of oneness among other spiritual benefits.
He appreciated the women and other people of his constiuency for supporting him to succeed.
He called on the women and the people of his Constiuency to continue to live in unity, peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations.
” If there is no peace, there will be no development, so let’s continue to sustain the peace we are enjoying in this constituency” he said.
Hon. Abel who called on the people of his Constiuency to continue to pray and support Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed revealed that over N8 million was expended for the day program.
” His Excellency, Engr. A A Sule is transforming the State as he has done a lots of projects such as State Secretariat Complex, flyovers and underpass in Lafia, Akwanga as well as ongoing ones in Keffi and Karu LGAs among other developmental projects.
Besides, Hon. Abel assured of his continued commitment to provide quality and effective representation at the state legislature.
On his part, Rev. Danjuma Ogah, the Archdean, ERCC Nassarawa Eggon Conference urged the women to adhere strictly to the rules of the competition.
He also urged the panel of judges to be fair and just in awarding marks.
The Man of God appreciated Hon. Abel Yakubu Bala for sponsoring the Sing Song Competition, noting that it was the first of its kind in the constiuency and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
“Let’s continue to pray and Support Hon. Abel to succeed in what he is looking for” he said.
Also speaking, Mr Moses Ogah Solomon, the Chairman, Panel of Judges of the Sing Song Competition, assured of fairness and impartiality during the competition.
He urged the participating LCCs to adhere to the rules of the competition.
Earlier, Leader of ERCC RCC Mada Station, Mrs Rhoda Bala assured that the women are well prepared for the competition in order to praise God through songs.
Mrs Bala, who was represented by her Deputy, Mrs Paulina J. Averson appreciated Hon. Abel for sponsoring the competition and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
The Women Leader assured Hon. Bala of their continued prayers and support to him to succeed beyond 2027.
It would be reported that the Sing Song Competition brought together 36 Local Church Councils (LCCs) under ERCC Mada Station, Nassarawa Eggon LGAs.
It would also be reported that ERCC LCC Angba Iggah came first position with N300,000 prize award, ERCC Mada Station 1 came Second position with N200,000 prize award and ERCC LCC Ami-Abma Ezzen came third position with N150, 000 prize award respectively.
It was also gathered that other participating LCCs got N100,000 each, Reverends, Pastors among others went home with cash amounts accordingly.
The competition had in attendance PDP Chairman, Nassarawa Eggon LGA, Mr Godiya Yaro, PDP Chairman, Mada Station Ward, Mustapha Ibrahim, politicians, clergies among others.
The 36 LCCs that made up of the ERCC RCC Mada Station included Angba Iggah, Atamala, Kaduna Wangibi, Burum_Burum, Mada Station 1, Alhamis Ezzen, Angwan Waje, Akunejiba, Bakin Kogi Iggah, Angba Riri, Angiri Ruwa Doma, Anzhiakolo, India, Ami- Abma Ezzen, Lizzin Keffi, Gada Biyu, Gada One Ezzen, Bassa, Agbo Abutsa, Ezzen Centre, Eva Wunza, Kwari Eha Ezzen, Ladi Endeh, Ogbushinyi, Okpiki, Ruwa Doma Gabas, Sabon Gari Ikka, Tudun Iggah, Mada Station 2, Tudun Eggon 2, Ondzu, Makwala , Tashini Mission, Langa-Langa Mission.
