Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Dr. Danladi Jatau, has urged young intellectuals and other people of the state to continue to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
He also urged them to show love and remain united irrespective of their affiliations for the overall development of the state.
The Speaker who made the call while playing host to Kokona Young Intellectual Forum today in his office, Lafia tasked them on hard work.
He said that Gov. Abdullahi Sule has done a lot for the people of the state, hence the need of his call.
” Let’s all support His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
” He has done well and he has passion for development,” the Speaker said.
The Speaker also appreciated Gov. Sule for his all inclusive leadership in the state.
Jatau appreciated the forum for endorsing him for the seat of Karu/ Keffi/ Kokona Federal constituency come 2027.
” With this endorsement from you and by God’s grace, I will win my election,” he said.
According to him, I am proud of you and with you we will take Kokona to the next level of development.
Speaker Jatau assures of continued quality, sound and effective representation at the state legislature.
He said that he would continue to provide more dividends of democracy to the people of his constituency.
He also urged the people to continue to live in unity and peace irrespective of their affiliations.
Earlier, the Leader of the delegation, Mr Silas Gyar said that the visit was to appreciate the Speaker for the good work he is doing for the people of his constituency and the state at large.
” And to appreciate you for supporting Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed in the state,” he said.
Gyar also passed a vote of confidence on Speaker Jatau over his good leadership style.
The Group also decorated Jatau as the Patron of the organization.
Gyar assured the Speaker of their prayers and support at all times.
” We are endorsing you for the position of Karu/ Keffi/ Kokona Federal constituency come 2027,” he said.
He, however, appealed for inclusion of Postgraduate students into his scholarship Scheme, mobility among others.
