Officcials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested no fewer than 40 suspected internet fraudsters popularly known as ‘Yahoo Boys’  at different locations in the Federal Capital Territory.

The spokesman of EFCC,  Mr Dele Oyewale revealed this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

Oyewale explained that 18 of them were arrested at Dawaki axis, while the remaining 12 were arrested at other locations of Abuja.

Acccording to him, their arrest followed credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet activities, also know as Yahoo- Yahoo.

”The Items we  seized from them include 23 phones, 4 laptops and 4 vehicles.

”As soon as investigations are concluded, they will be charged to court,” Oyewale said.
