Osana Keana, Alhaji Abdullahi Amegwa Agbo 111 and Sangarin Shabu, Nasarawa State, Alhaji Mahmud Bwalla have urged the newly married couples to show love and understanding and be open minded to each other for a peaceful home and to build an egalitarian society.
The first class and second class traditional rulers gave the advise during the wedding Fatiha of Abdulrasheed Aseku, Personal Assistant ( PA) to Mohammed Omadefu ( APC- Keana) and Chairman, House Committee on Information and Ummulkhairat Eladoga at the palace of Osana Keana today.
The traditional ruler described marriage as a journey embarked upon with love, patience, perseverance, understanding, tolerance and forgiveness for it to succeed.
He however congratulated the new couple and wished them a happy married life.
Besides, the two traditional rulers urged the people of the state and Nigeria to continue to live in peace and tolerate one another irrespective of their affiliations for development to thrive.
Also speaking, Mr Mohammed Omadefu ( APC- Keana), Mr Abdulaziz Danladi ( APC- Keffi East), Mr Ismaeel Danbaba ( APC- Nasarawa) and Dr. Peter Akwe( PDP- Ob1), members at the state legislature congratulated the couple, urging them to be patient with one another.
They have advised them to learn to live together and care for each other for their marriage to prosper, while praying God to make the union a blissful one.
Responding, the Groom and Bride thanked God for a dream come true and appreciated all those that came far and near to witness their wedding.
The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) reports that Mr Mohammed Omadefu, member representing Keana Constituency at the state legislature stood in for the groom’s father while Sangarin Shabu, Alhaji Mahmud Bwalla stood in for bride father. ( NAN)
