Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, Federal Commissioner of National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Person (NCFRMI) says, the Commission is seeking partnership with Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) to build the capacity of its staff.
Sulaiman-Ibrahim stated this on Thursday when she paid a courtesy visit to the EFCC Chairman, Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa in Abuja.
She said when the capacity of staff of the NCFRMI is enhanced, it would go a long way to enhance productivity, honesty and sincerity in carrying out their works as it relate to persons of concerns.
“We carry out a lot of activities relating to refugees, migrants and Internally Displaced Person across the country with different projects. Thus, building the capacity of our staff is very essential.
“The Commission would like to partner and collaborate with the EFCC in that regards. It will enhance our work as we work to deliver on our mandate,” Sulaiman-Ibrahim said.
Responding, Bawa said that EFCC would support the NCFRMI build the capacity of its staffs.
According to Bawa, the output of every organisation is dependent on the strength and capacity of the staff.
The EFCC boss stressed that there was also need for partnership in strengthening support for Persons of Concern across the country, adding that equipping Persons of Concern will make them self reliant and economically Independent. (NAN)
