 Umar Dahiru  scored a hat trick as Kano pillars  beat Plateau 3- 2 on Monday  to  advance to the final  of para-soccer at the ongoing Para-Sports Games in Abuja.
According to reports, the match was  played  at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium,
 Plateau suffered a 2-0 loss to the  FCT  on Sunday, While  Kano Pillars  remaines unbeaten after deeating  Lagos  9-1 to reach the quarter final.
 Dahiru  who was in an  exceptional form for  pillars  struck in the 26th minute and increased the tally in the 37th minute.
Dahiru struck again in the 44th minute via an assist by Ibrahim Hashim to make three for pillars.

Speaking after the match, Ibrahim Musa , the  coach of pillars said his players were impressive, adding thta they  understands each other.
“ We will be facing the  FCT  team  on Tuesday by 4.30 pm ,it will not be a stress like that of Plateau  because  this is not  my first time to  encounter them,”he said.
On his side, Vogam David, coach of Plateau  praised his players in spite losing the match.
He said that he did not expect the players to play the way they did  in the absence of   key players. were not.
“ We are going back to the drawing board to re-strategised for  our third place  match.
“ Hopefully ,we will never go back home without winning a trophy in spite that we lost our title on Sunday.
In another  semi final match, FCT  defeated their Kaduna  counterparts 1-0  in the  semifinals.
Nine states are participating in the Para-soccer competition. They are Kwara ,Lagos,FCT Abuja, Bauchi,Kano,Sokoto, kaduna , Jigawa  and Plateau .
According to reports, a total of 15 sporting events  are featuring  in the second  edition of the Para-Sports Games.
