Adesanya, 32, bounced back from adisappointing heavyweight challengeagainst Jan Blachowicz at UFC 259 toretain his middleweight title on Saturday.
Adesanya defeated his Italian contenderVettori via a unanimous decision 5045, 50-45, 50-45.
The Nigerian fighter joined UFC roster in2018, five years ago but has morphed into one of the strongest fighter in the world after defeating the likes of Paulo Costa, Robert Whittaker and Anderson Silva to establish his name in the game.
