Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau Ph.D, has emerged as the Deputy National Chairman of the Nigeria APC Speakers Conference.
Dr. Danladi Jatau was elected on opposed and through consensus agreement by the Speakers of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in Nigeria.
The election was conducted yesterday Saturday 7th February, 2026 during the Nigeria APC Speakers Conference held at Onomo Allure AATC Hotel, Abuja.
The Nasarawa State Number One Lawmaker in his acceptance speech thanked God Almighty for the elevation to serve in the Speakers Conference and appreciated his colleagues for the confidence reposed in him to serve in that capacity.
The Nasarawa State Number Three Citizen while assuring that he will not fail in his responsibilities promised renewed commitment in serving the Conference and the Nation as well as to bring new innovations and stability that will enhance development in all ramifications.
“My election by my Distinguished Hon. Colleagues through consensus was a thing of joy and happiness to me, my people and my State, I will not take it for granted, I will work hard to justify the confidence repose in me by the grace of God” He said.
“I thank God Almighty for this honour, and I also thank my Rt. Hon. Colleagues for electing me into this position and for having trust on me, I will not disappoint you” He added.
