The All Progressives Congress ( APC), Nasarawa State Chapter, has called on all party members to rally round Sen.Abdullahi Adamu, the new National Chairman and other National Working Committee ( NWC) of the party to succeed.
Dr John Mamman, the Chairman of the party in the state made the call in a statement issued to newsmen on Wednesday in Lafia, the Nasarawa Staye capital.
Mamman said that if members of the party supporter could rally round Adamu and his team, it would not only promote peace in the party but also ensure the victory of the party beyond 2023.
The Nasarawa State APC chairman also described emergence of the National Working Committee of the party by consensus as a signpost of the party victory in 2023.
” The just concluded National convention of the party is peaceful and it has further demonstrated the unity and strength of the party.
” The emergence of the National Working Committee of the party by consensus is a signal of the party victory in 2023 and beyond,,” he said.
Mamman appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari and all APC Governors as well as stakeholders and delegates for ensuring the success of the national convention.
He has congratulated Adamu and other National Working Committee of the party on their emergence and called on them to unite the members of the party.
The state APC chairman equally salute the spirit of sportsmanship exhibited by other aspirants, particularly Sen. Umaru Tanko Almakura for the withdrawal of his aspiration to lead the party in the interest of unity and progress of APC.
He called for unity among members of the party to enable the party to continue to come out victorious in future elections.
Besides, Mamman has called on the people of the state to continue to support President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.
