Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing his predecessor, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi as Chairman, Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Yobe State.
The Speaker Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau gave the commendation while speaking with newsmen during the inauguration of Balarabe and other Chairmen and members of Governing Councils of Federal Tertiary Institutions today in Abuja.
Speaker Jatau congratulated the former Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi on his well deserved appointment.
He also expressed hope that the former Speaker would use his wealth of experience to add value to the development of polytechnic education in the country.
” Today is a very historic day in the history of our state as one of our own, my predecessor and the former Speaker of the state legislature, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has been inaugurated as Chairman, Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Yobe State.
” We believe that the former Speaker has the capacity to do justice to this appointment, ” he said
The Speaker thanked President Tinubu for appointing Balarabe as Chairman, Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Yobe State.
” I want to appreciate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the honour done to us and our State by appointing the former Speaker Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi as Chairman Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Yobe State” he said.
Speaker Jatau urged the people of the State to continue to give their maximum support to President Tinubu and Gov Abdullahi Sule as well as other leaders to succeed.
Also speaking, Hon Aliyu Tijani Ahmed, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) Rt. Hon. Muhammad Adamu Oyanki, the Deputy Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Adamu Omadefu (APC-Keana), Hon Ali Ibrahim Nana (APC- Keffi West) members of the state legislature.
Others are Hon Abdullahi Angibi, former member representing Lafia Central constituency, Hon Usman Labaran Shafa, Secretary, Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Hon Madaki AdaGoje, former member representing Toto/Gadabuke constituency, Hon Aliyu Abdullahi Tasha and Hon Mohammed Sani Ottos, chairmen of Toto and Nasarawa LGAs respectively, expressed optimism on the ability of Balarabe to deliver on his national assignment.
They congratulated the former Speaker on his well deserved appointment and wished him the best while discharging his duties.
