Nasarawa State House of Assembly Committee on Works, has commended contractors handling the construction of water drainages and erosion control system from Royal Dream to Aku Village and 5.3 kilometers Gurku/Gitata/Panda Smarth City Road in Karu LGA for carrying out good job.
Hon. Suleiman Yakubu Azara, who is the Majority Leader of the House and Chairman of the committee gave the commendation while inspecting Construction of 2.3KM water drainage and erosion control system from Royal Dream to Aku Village and 5.3 KM Gurku/Gitata/Panda Smarth City Road, Karu LGA today Friday.
The committee also inspected box culvert at Angwan Dugbana in New karu.
Azara said that the visit was one of the House constitutional responsibilities in order to ensure that right things are done by the contractors.
” It is part of our constitutional responsibilities to inspect roads among other proejcts to ensure that contractors adhere strictly to projects specifications.
” What we are doing is to ensure that contractors do good job for the overall development of the state” he said.
Hon Azara also commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule for funding various projects across the state.
” We want to commend Gov. Abdullahi Sule for releasing funds for the projects.
” We will continue to synergize and collaborate with the state government to ensure development of road and other infrastructure in the state” he added.
On their parts, the contractors handling various projects in Karu LGA assured the House of their continued determination to deliver good jobs.
