…… Tasks Contractor to expedite action for quick completion of the road.
In continuation of its inspection of Government projects across the State, Nasarawa state House of Assembly Committee on Works has visited the ongoing rehabilitation and upgrading of Toto-Umaisha road in the Western Senatorial Zone of the State.
The third day inspection exercise which took place today Thursday saw the Committee visited the ongoing rehabilitation and upgrading of Toto-Umaisha road where it expressed satisfaction with the resumption of work on the road.
Hon. Suleiman Yakubu Azara the Chairman of the Committee and Majority Leader of the House who led other members for the inspection said the exercise was to see the level of work and appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for releasing funds for the completion of the road.
“I was here last time, what I saw then was encouraging, not appreciable compair with what I saw today.
” First, I want to appreciate His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi Sule for his foresight in approved the funds and make serious efforts to make sure the fund is be released for the completion of the road.
” I also give thanks to the paramount ruler the Ohimege Opanda and the two members of Nasarawa State House of Assembly from this area.
” This work has been faced with a lot of challenges but thank God it has been resolved, please do a quality work, this is a contract that we are all proud of, the people and Assembly are happy” he added.
He commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his efforts in ensuring that people of Toto and Umaisha enjoy the dividends of democracy thus assuring him of Assembly support at all times.
Contributing, the Council’s Secretary appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for making his people smile and pledged his people’s loyalty and support to the Government of the day.
The General Manager of the construction Company Engr. Yusuf Ishaka of ELA Engineering and Construction NIG. Ltd, appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule for the released of funds and promised to deliver a quality work.
