Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has confirmed 17 out of 18 Administrators and their members for the 18 Area Administrative Councils sent to the House by Gov. Abdullahi Sule.
Rt. Hon. Dr. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the House announced their confirmations after the nominees appeared for screening during the House Proceedings today in Lafia.
The Speaker stepped down the confirmation of Mr Bashir Zubairu as Administrator, Farin Ruwa Area Administrative Council.
The Speaker congratulated them on their well deserved appointments and wished them well in their assignments.
Dr. Jatau urged them to live above board while discharging their duties, if finally sworn in.

Jatau said Hon. Hashimu Jada was confirmed as Administrator, Azara Area Administrative Council, with Sabiu Haruna, Sule S Pada,
Maimuna Abubakar Umar and Abubakar Dantala Yakubu as members.
” For Uke/Karahi Area Administrative Council, Hon. Yakubu Bala was confirmed as Administrator, while Sulaiman Malan, Adamu Yakubu, Adamu Abdullahi and Atuwa Enoch Atnandu are to serve as members.
” For Panda Area Administrative Council, Prof. Rabo Dakare was confirmed as Administrator, Zullai Abdullahi Ango, Mike John Boyi, Abdullahi Abubakar Kwakuru and Joseph Jatau to serve as members.
” Hon. Jeremiah Ishaleku was confirmed as Administrator for Lafia East Area Administrative Council with Ismaila Abu-Ari, Safiyanu Abdulhamid-Adogi and Augustine Allu as members.
” For Lafia North Area Administrative Council, Mr Nasiru Akanza was confirmed as Administrator, with Abbas Ibrahim, Ruth Lliya Akpanva, Abubakar Al Bako, and Barr. Ovey Yakubu as members.

Agwada Area Administrative Council; Elisha Dogo as Administrator, Maikasuwa Audu- Member, Abubakar Abdullahi-Member, Ibrahim Yahaya Jantawe – Member, and Asambe Zubeva Idete – Member.
The Speaker directed the Clerk of the Assembly to communicate the House resolution to Gov. Sule for his necessary action.
In an interview separately, Prof. Rabo Dakare, Administrator, Panda Area Administrative Council and Hon. David Ayele, Administrator, Jenkwe Area Administrative Council pledged to contribute their quota positively to the development of their Councils and the State at large.
They also promised to prioritize Peace and security of their areas for the overall development of the State.
They appreciated Gov. Abdullahi Sule for the confidence reposed on them and promised not to disappoint him.
It would be reported that on May 13, 2025 Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, has appointed 18 administrators and their members for the 18 Area Administrative Councils in the State.
