Chief Mandy David Abuluya, Founder, Nacabs Polytechnic, Akwanga, Nasarawa State, has been re- elected as President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide for second term.
Comrade, Simon Abashi, the Chairman, ECDA Electoral Committee on Saturday in Nassarawa Eggon LGA announced Abuluya winner of the presidential election.
Abashi said that Mandy David Abuluya scored 147 votes to defeat Mr Tsaku Allan, Chairman, ANAN, FCT Abuja Chapter, who scored 94 votes.
He also announced Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Galle as General Secretary with 155 votes to defeat incumbent General Secretary, Christopher Allu, who scored 82 votes.
” For Vice President, Ejjah Usman Audu scored 92 votes and Mohammed Haruna Arugbadu scored 146 and is hereby declared the winner and returned elected.
Simon announced Barnabas John Anvah as Assistant General Secretary, Dogara Edzi as Treasurer, Edro Emmanuel Akwanga as Financial Secretary and Suleiman Danladi Gyabo as PRO.
He further announced announced Haruna Adigizi as Social and Cultural Secretary, Danladi Audu as Provost Marshal and Abaine Samuel Abains as Auditor General,
Comrade Abashi appreciated delegates, stakeholders and security agencies for the success of the election.
Speaking after his election, the re-elected ECDA President, Chief Mandy David Abuluya dedicated victory to God Almighty, delegates, family, friends and those, who stood firm to ensure his victory despite blackmail and character assassination on his reputation over ECDA election.
Abuluya, who is the Proprietor, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga, who could not hide his joy on his victory, the victory of Umar Abdullahi Galle as General Secretary and his team, said Eggon nation should expect more development.
” First and foremost , I want to dedicate my victory, the victory of Alhaji Umar Abdullahi Galle as General Secretary and the victory of all Progressive Leadership Group as the will of God.
” As I used to said, leadership comes from God, he gives it to whom he wish.
” This election is an in- house election, despite my tirelessly efforts to bring speedy development to Eggon nation, I was blackmailed by some people in the name of ECDA election.
” I have forgiven all those who blackmailed me in the name of ECDA election and I want to extend hands of friendship to them for the unity, peace, process and development of Eggon Nation. They come and let’s work together.
” My door is always open for us to work together for the overall development of Eggon nation,” he said.
Abuluya, who is the Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC), Nasarawa State appreciated all those, who supported him to ensure his victory and that of his group and prayed God to bless them abundantly.
