……………Task elected representatives to leave above board, expressed happiness over return of peace in the area, called for unity among citizens.
The Immediate Past Speaker of Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has today Saturday cast his vote for the Local Government Area elections in Nasarawa State.
The Former Speaker who is the current Chairman Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic Damaturu, Yobe State and the Chairman of APC Campaign Council for Toto LG cast his vote around 11:15 in the morning at his Galadima B polling unit Umaisha.
He commended the State Electoral body NASIEC for early distribution of materials for the election.
Balarabe Abdullahi also commended the mass turnout and peaceful conduct of the people of the area during the exercise.
Balarabe Abdullahi commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for conducting LG election elections in the State which he said will enhance grassroots development just as he appreciated the effort of security agencies for ensuring hitch free exercise.
He called on those who will emerged victorious to be magnanimous in victory by carrying everyone along and called on those who will not make it at the exercise to embrace sportsmanship and join hands together for speedy growth of the area and the State at large.
He called on the entire citizens of the State to give Gov. Abdullahi Sule all the necessary support to succeed.
On his part, the First Class Traditional Ruler of the area the Ohimege Opanda Umaisha HRH Alh Usman Abdullahi who cast his vote at Galadima A polling unit Umaisha around 10:50 in the morning expressed happiness for the return of peace in the area and called for its sustenance.
He said it is the presence of peace that gives room for the peaceful exercise in the area and called on his people especially elites and the political class to unite for the overall peace and progress of the area.
Ohimege Opanda commended NASIEC for early distribution of electoral materials and called on those who will have the opportunities to role this time around to brace up and deliver on their mandates.
The Monarch commended the peaceful conducts by his people and urged them to continue to champion the curse of peace and unity among themselves for development to thrive.
The Permanent Secretary, Government House Lafia Alh. Umar Idris who was also at home for the exercise expressed satisfaction with the process and called on his people to give the present administration of Gov. Abdullahi Sule all the needed support to succeed.
