Chorio disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Lafia.
According to him, the HGJSS scholarship scheme is currently receiving applications from qualifying students of higher institutions of learning, with special consideration for indigent but brilliant students.
The Gaza Jonathan scholarship scheme is a brainchild of the member of the House of Representatives, Mr Jonathan Gaza, representing Keffi-Karu on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Chorio explained that Gaza, who is a frontline aspirant for the governorship race, had expanded the scholarship award to cover the 13 Local Government Areas of the state.

The person must be an indigene/resident of Nasarawa State enrolled in an accredited tertiary institution within Nasarawa State with a proof of admission/ and a student identification card.
