Foundation empowers entrepreneurs to drive growth

The Eminent Emerging Entrepreneurs Foundation says it is empowering some entrepreneurs to foster collaboration and drive growth in the Micro Small and Medium Entreprises (MSME) sector.

Mr Eberechi Marcus, Founder of the foundation said this at the 8th Annual Emerging Entrepreneurs Summit on Wednesday in Abuja.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the summit was organised by the foundation and Thelema Lion Foundation in partnership with International Organisation for Migration (IOM).

The theme of the two days event is, “Invest in Refining of Raw Materials and Talents: Panacea for Decent Job Creation”.

Marcus urged the participants at the summit to leverage all the opportunities and training available to better themselves and drive their various businesses and the entrepreneurial subsector.

 

 

“This summit provides a platform for entrepreneurs to become what they desire and want to be . It is one that has always changed lives for those who want to change their lives.

“This platform is for you to learn, there are a lot of things you can do. So you must be focused. We are going to be unveiling various opportunities that will change your lives,” he said.

According to him, through the summit some participants will have the opportunity to be trained at the enterprise development centre.

He urged participants to imbibe the fundamental principles of business to help shape their imaginative sense and enable them master their act in business.

Earlier, Mrs Ifeoma Agu of Thelema Lion Foundation and co-convener of the programme, also urged participants to leaverage the platform to ensure socio-economic development.

“I urge you to leverage on this platform, engage with peers, and explore opportunities because collectively we can drive entrepreneurial growth, job creation and socio-economic development.

“Today, our aim is to foster collaboration among MSME stakeholder, showcase inovation solutions, provide valuable networking opportunities and enhance entrepreneurial skills ” she said. (NAN)
