The President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA) Worldwide, Mr Mandy David Abuluya, has urged Eggon youths to embrace unity and work together irrespective of their political and religious affiliations for development to thrive.
Abuluya made the call during the inauguration of new officials of Eggon Youth Association (EYA) in Nassarawa Eggon LGA today.
It was reported that the event had its theme “Eggon Unity and Integration”
According to him, The ECDA under my leadership would not tolerate any act of division, so the youths must work together irrespective of their political and religious affiliations for development to thrive.
Abuluya, who is the Proprietor, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga commended the Aren Eggon for his zeal and passion for peace and development as according to him the importance of peace to human and societal development could not be overemphasized.
” Peace is priceless, non negotiable and it is the necessary requirement for the development of any society. We are here today because there is peace, if there is no peace, we will not be here.
” So let’s continue to embrace unity and peace for the development of Eggon nation, Nasarawa State and Nigeria as a whole.
” I also want to thank the stakeholders and ECDA leadership under my watch for our determination to unite the Eggon youths. What we are celebrating here today was as a result of our collective efforts for one Eggon Nation.
” I wish to congratulate the new executive members of the association and urge you to live above board while discharging your duties.
Abuluya urged the officials of Eggon Youth Association (EYA) to lead with the fear of God, transparency and accountability.
“These should continue to be your watch words.
” I also want to appeal to the new officials to embrace team work and to provide all inclusive leadership for the unity, peace, progress and development of Eggon nation.
The ECDA President called on all Eggon youths as well as all and sundry to give their maximum support to the new official to succeed.
