Mr David Abuluya, the President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association (ECDA), Worldwide, has congratulated Justice Ahmed Ubangari (Rtd), the former Chief Judge of Nasarawa State over his emergence as Aren Eggon and paramount ruler of Eggon nation.

Abuluya, who is also the Founder, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga led officials of the association, to rejoice with the new Aren Eggon at his residence in Lafia on Saturday.

The ECDA President expressed hope that the new Aren Eggon has the capacity to unite and promote peace among Eggon people and their neighbours.

” I am here with ECDA EXCOs to congratulate and rejoice with our new Aren Eggon, Justice Ahmed Ubangari.

” We pray God to give him wisdom to unite and promote peace among Eggon people and their neighbours,” he said.

Abuluya, Chairman Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC), Nasarawa State also prayed God to guide and protect the new paramount ruler of Eggon nation.

He assured the first class traditional ruler of their loyalty and support at all times.

The ECDA President solicited for the support of all sons and daughters of Eggon nation to enable the monarch succeed.

Responding, the new Aren Eggon appreciated them for the visit and prayed God to grant them safe journey to the various destinations.

The News Agency of Nigeria ( NAN) recalls that on May 5, Gov. Abdullahi Sule has approved the appointment of a former Chief Judge of the state, Justice Ahmed Ubangari (rtd) as the new Aren Eggon.

Sule gave the approval shortly after being presented with the report of the committee saddled with the responsibility of conducting the selection of the new Aren Eggon, at the Government House, on Friday, May 5.

The Governor emphasized that, the selection of the new Aren Eggon was carried out in line with the strict policy of transparency under his administration.

NAN also recalls that the new Aren Eggon succeeds the late Dr. Bala Abaine Angbazo, who died in July 2022.(NAN)
