Ame wo ba Eggon ( AWBE), a socio-cultual group of the Eggon people, has concluded plans to hold carnival of peace and togetherness in Nasarawa State from Dec. 26 to Dec. 28, 2022.
This is contain in a statement issued by Chief Awayi Kuje, member of the 2022 AWBE Media and Publicity Committee and made available to newsmen in Nassarawa Eggon Local Government of Nasarawa State.
According to Kuje, AWBE was created in February 2011 by Mr. Esla Samson Madaki, who was then undergoing his Master’s degree programme in the UK.
“Ame Wo Ba Eggon was initially created to serve as an online meeting point for all Eggon people”.
The statement also said that during the three days programme, the event would feature Cultural dance Performances/Display by cultural troupes, Zonal Performances, Paper Presentation, etc.
The statement read as thus: Ame Wo Ba Eggon presents Eggon Carnival 2022 ( CarnEggon).
“Annual Eggon Carnival with the Theme:
“Eggon Carnival of Peace and Togetherness.
“Order of Events 26/12/2022- Gala Night at KMK Event Centre, Beside NNPC Mega Station, Lafia.
“27/12/2022- Carnival proper/Entertainment and lots more at Eggon Community Secondary School (ECSS) Nassarawa Eggon, Nasarawa State.
“28/12/2022- Carnival Grand Finale at ECSS Nassarawa Eggon,” Kuje said.

Kuje also called on all Eggon sons and daughters and other Nigerians to attend the event considering the importance of peace and togetherness to human and societal development.
It would be recalled that in December 2012, Ame Wo Ba Eggon hosted the first Eggon Carnival in Eggon land.
