Mr Micah Jiba, Immediate past lawmaker representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, has inaugurated 25 projects in various parts of Abuja Municipal Area Council and Bwari Area Council of the FCT.
Jiba, during the inauguration tour on Tuesday, said the projects were in fulfilment of some of his campaign promises he made to improve the living standards of living of his constituents.
He appreciated the people for giving him the opportunity to serve, adding that he would ensure FCT residents enjoy more dividends of democracy whenever he has another opportunity to serve.
“I am very fulfilled now that I have completed these projects, the funds for some of these projects came and I was able to utilize it appropriately and the contractors did commendable jobs on site.
“I am happy that our intervention project was delivered to each locality as this is the only way our people at the grassroot can enjoy the dividends of democracy in the FCT,” he said.
Mr Chucka Eze, who resides in Bwari, appreciated the lawmaker for the kind gesture, especially in the area of rural electrification in various communities in Bwari Area Council.
He prayed for God’s blessings upon the lawmaker in his future endeavours.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that some of the projects inaugurated include three blocks of classrooms and furnitures at Pilot Science Primary School, Bwari, five block of classrooms at Dawaki, a five block of classrooms with offices and toilets at Piwoyi Community.
Others are one solar borehole in Gbobwidna in Bwari Central, construction of solar borehole at Jibi DeiDei, one motorized borehole at Chika and Ketti communities, and a 500KVA installed transformer at Gosa community.
Others are 500KVA installed transformer at Kurudu Army Barracks, motorized borehole at ECWA Bible School, Karu, ICT Center at JSS Nyanya, among others.
