Member representing Kokona East constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly and APC candidate for the Keffi/ Karu/ Kokona Federal constituency in the 2027 general elections, Hon Daniel Ogah Ogazi, has disbursed N12 million to 600 women of Kokona LGA.
This, he said is to enable enable them boost their business and agricultural activities in order to become self reliant.
Hon Ogazi, the Chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business made the disbursement today in Garaku, Kokona LGA.
He said that the money disbursed to the women was his salary for the month of May, 2026 while promising to use his June and July salary to disburse to women of Keffi and Karu LGAs respectively.
” What I am doing today is to appreciate your efforts and support for me during the APC primaries for Keffi/ Karu/ Kokona Federal Constituency.
” Our salary in the House is N7 million monthly as member, today I decided to use my May salary, 2026 to give to you as appreciation for your prayers and support during my primaries election.
” I have added N5 million making it to be N12 million to disburse to you. Each woman will go home with N20,000.
” I want to urge you to use the money to improve on your standard of living and that of your family members,” he said
Hon Ogazi urged the beneficiaries to use the money to boost their business and agriculture activities.
He disclosed that he has sunk over 72 boreholes, constructed bridges, culverts, roads, electricity, empowerment among others.
The lawmaker appreciated the women and other people of the constituency for their support to him during the just concluded APC primaries in the state.
Hon Ogazi described the APC primary that brought him as credible, free and fair.
According to him, I have done my best and still doing my best as a member representing Kokona East constituency.
” I have given jobs, distributed cars, motorcycles, other empowerment as well as initiated different projects in the education, health, agriculture, water among others,” he said.
Hon Ogazi promised to provide more dividends of democracy to the people of Keffi/ Karu/ Kokona Federal constituency, if elected come 2027.
” By God’s grace, If elected into the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, I will empower you to be self reliant.
” I will also initiate people oriented projects that will have direct bearing on your lives and for the overall development of our federal constituency,” he said.
Hon Ogazi also pledged quality and effective representation at the National Assembly.
He solicited for the prayers and support of all and sundry to enable him succeed.
The lawmaker urged the people of the state to vote all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections.
” I want to urge you to vote His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Sen. Aliyu Ahmed Wadada, Nasarawa State APC Governorship Candidate and all other APC candidates during the 2027 general elections.
” This is to enable us continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy,” he said.
The lawmaker enjoined the people of the area to continue to live in unity and peace irrespective of their affiliations.
Also speaking, Hajiya Hasiya Ahmed, Secretary, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board ( SUBEB), Hon Terry Bado Jacob, APC Chairman, Kokona LGA and Hon Bawa Rabo, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Gov. Abdullahi Sule on Greater Karu, commended Hon Ogazi for always having the interest of the people at his heart.
They said that the gesture would go a long way in improving the standard of living of the beneficiaries and that of their family members.
Earlier, Hon Manasseh Sambo, Chairman, Hon Ogazi Empowerment Committee disclosed that each woman would go home with N20,000.
He urged the beneficiaries to ensure judicious use of the money.
Manasseh called on the beneficiaries to continue to pray and support Hon Ogazi to succeed.
Some of the beneficiaries, Mrs Justina Boka, Mrs Mary Bala and Mrs Hauwa Yusuf, who spoke appreciated Hon Ogazi for the gesture and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
They assured Hon Ogazi of their prayers and support to succeed.
