Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State on Monday in Lafia donated a Sharon Vehicle to the Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) to promote their activities.
Sule urged them to use the vehicle to promote unity and peace among its members and other people of the state.
The governor represented by Mr Abubakar Isa-Abdullahi, Permanent Secretary, Political Affairs , Office of the Secretary to the state government presented the car to ECDA President, Chief David Abuluya.
Sule urged the leadership of the association to use the vehicle for the benefit of the association purpose.
” On behalf of His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, I present this Vehicle to you and I urge you to use it for the purpose it was meant for,” he said
The governor restated his administration’s commitment to continue to partner with cultural and other associations in the state to promote unity and peace.
Responding, Abuluya appreciated the governor for the donation and prayed God to bless him abundantly.
” Your Excellency, in 2025 during our inauguration, you pledged to give us a car and to fence our community Secondary School, Nassarawa Eggon.
” Weeks ago, you sent a team to the school for inspection for the fencing of the school and today, you gave us the car, we appreciate your efforts and we are grateful to you sir,” he said.
In attendance were Alhaji Umar Galle, the General Secretary of ECDA, other Executives members, Eggon Youth Association (EYA) Executives, ECDA President appointees among others.
