2027: EKWUTOZIAM PLEDGES COMPLETION OF YOUTH SKILLS ACQUISITION CENTRE

The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) candidate for Ahoada East/Abua-Odual Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Ambassador Dr Ekwutoziam Ogwus Chinedu, has pledged to complete the ongoing Youth Multipurpose Skills Acquisition Centre in Ahoada, Rivers State, to promote youth empowerment and economic development.

The centre, located along Tropical Hotel Road in Ahoada Main City, is designed to provide vocational and technical training, entrepreneurship development, leadership education and mentorship for young people across Ekpeye Kingdom and the wider Orashi Region.

Speaking on the project, Ekwutoziam explained that its foundation was laid on January 20, 2025, as part of her commitment to human capital development and the creation of opportunities for young people.

She said the facility, when completed, would equip youths with practical skills, promote self-reliance and reduce unemployment, while providing productive alternatives to crime and other social vices.

The NNPP candidate noted that her commitment to community development predated her political ambition, stressing that leadership should be measured by tangible contributions to the well-being of the people rather than political positions or promises.

She expressed optimism that election into the House of Representatives would provide a wider platform to attract development partnerships, expand economic opportunities and advance infrastructure projects across Ahoada East and Abua-Odual Federal Constituency.

Ekwutoziam identified youth empowerment, skills acquisition, job creation and community infrastructure as major priorities of her proposed representation, insisting that sustainable development requires practical interventions that directly improve livelihoods.
