Mr. Emmanuel Auta, the Chief Details to the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly and son of late Mr. Auta Dauda Iyah of Karu LGA of Nasarawa State has held a traditional marriage with Ms Nancy Adeyemi daughter of Mr. Rawlings Kokuma Adeyemi of Ibollo in Edo State.
The double events, traditional marriage and send-forth took place yesterday Saturday 7th February, 2026 in Edo State amidst displayed of marriage tradition and culture of the Edo people.
Relatives, friends, associates and well wishers from far and near were on ground in Edo State to witness the event where prayers and blessings were offered accordingly aside displayed of culture and traditions of the people.
The event also underscored the significance of peace and unity inherent in inter-tribal and inter-state marriage.
It was reported that both the groom and the bride as well as their parents acknowledged the significance of the crose border and ethnic union, upholding each other in trust and confidence as well as adherence to the sanctity of the marriage institution to build an egalitarian home.
With the traditional marriage done and dusted, bride send off in native home of Edo State, the stage is now set for the white wedding bild for next week Saturday, 14th April, 2026 in Abuja.
