……….Toto LG Chairman, Ohimegye Opanda, others sue for peace, support for government, lawmaker.
Nasarawa State House of Assembly Member representing Umaisha/Ugya constituency, Hon. Ibrahim Abdullahi Sa’ad has flagged off free medical outreach to cover Two Thousand Five Hundred (2,500) beneficiaries, across Six wards of his constituency, Umuasha, Ugya, Kenyahu, Dausu, Shege and Katakpa.
He equally presented appointment letters to Nineteen (19) Special Assistans (SAs) to work under his office and donated Twenty biggest aluminum cooking pots to the All Progressive Congress (APC) party women Leaders for free services in their communities.
The event which took place at the General Hospital Umaisha drew people from across the Six electoral wards who are suffering from different types of ailments to access medical services.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Sa’ad appreciated the people of Umaisha/ Ugya constituency for the support and encouragement saying that providing for his people is his greatest passion in life and he will continue to do that for the rest of his life.
He said “today I choose to provide free medical services for Two Thousand Five Hundred people because I know there are many who are suffering from different types of sickness but can not afford the medical bills. The free medical outreach will last for Five days.
” Also as part of way of providing for the people to improve their earnings for better livelihood, I give Nineteen appointment letters to Nineteen persons to serve in different capacity under my office.
” I again donated Twenty biggest aluminium cooking pots to service my people at various communities. The type of pots they used to rent to cook for big occasions.
According to the Lawmaker, apart from this program and others, between December 2025 to August 2026 i spent Thirty Two Million Naira assisting people facing financial challenges.
He appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule for the achievements in Toto LG and called on the people to support the government and vote for him and APC candidates in 2027 general elections.
In his remark, the Executive Chairman, Toto Local Government Area, Pharmacist Ahmed Baba Yahaya commended Hon. Ibrahim Sa’ad for having the love, interest and passion to provide humanitarian services to his people at the time of need.
He expressed appreciation with Governor Abdullahi Sule for the numerous achievements recorded in the area that includes roads construction, improved health care services and above all, the returned of peace to Toto LGA.
” We must thank God, thank Governor Abdullahi Sule for taking a bold step to ensure that peace return to our communities, our people can go to farm, sleep with their two eyes closed, walk freely without fear of attack.
” Honourable Sa’ad has done marvelously well as member. He provided services that ranges from education, employment opportunity. He contributed to the revival of the General Hospital in Umaisha by donating health support facilities” He added.
He appealed to the people of Umaisha/Ugya constituency to reciprocate the gesture by voting for Hon. Sa’ad for the second time, Senator Ahmad Aliyu Wadada for Governor and all other APC candidates in 2027 general elections.
In his goodwill message, the Ohimegye Opanda, HRH Alhaji Usman Abdullahi expressed satisfaction with the performance of Hon. Sa’ad as member representing Umaisha/ Ugya and urged him to continue to carry out programs that will be of direct benefit to the people of his constituency.
” I am here not because I’m a politician, but because I have interest of my people. My people are here and they are watching what Sa’ad is doing, they are not fools. from other constituency are also here because the medical service is free.
” I urged the Doctors and the organizers to make sure all the people that came are giving the opportunity to access the free medical service” He said.
Ohimegye appreciated the Governor, Local Government Chairman, Traditional rulers and stakeholders for putting heads together and ensured the returned of peace in Toto LG.
He called on the people to support all government decision for peace, progress and economic development.
The Traditional ruler cautioned people against politics of hate, chaos, and to always vote for people who will bring unity, peace and economic development.
Representatives of APC Governorship Candidate, Senator Ahmad Aliyu Wadada, Baba Shehu and Senatorial Candidate of Nasarawa West, Dr. Faisal Shuaibu, Abubakar Adamu Daura said Hon. Ibrahim Sa’ad has done well and deserve another mandate to continue to provide lives touching services to the people.
The Residence Doctor in charge of General Hospital Umaisha, Dr. Abu Peter and the Coordinator of the medical outreach, Mrs Khadija Tijjani said the outreach will cover medical and surgical operations of different ailments such as diabetes, appendix, hypatitis and health talk.
Some of the beneficiaries of the free medical outreach and appointments. Habiba Isa, Abdullahi Abubakar, Oigabo Rhoda, and Lamwam Naanna thanks Honourable Sa’ad for coming to their rescue by providing free medication and appointment letters to ease their health and economic suffering.
