At Christmas : Nasarawa Lawmakers Ogazi, Ven-Bawa, Kudu urge Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, support for Govt. to fast track development

Member representing Kokona East constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Daniel Ogah Ogazi, has urged Nigerians to show love and patriotism to tackle corruption, insecurity and poverty in the country.

Ogazi, the Chairman, House Committee on Rules and business stated this today in his Christmas Message to Nigerians.

Hon. Ogazi said that,, if Nigerians would truly love one another and be sincere in their dealings, the challenges of corruption, insecurity and poverty would be minimized.

” I want to call on Christians and other Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, unity and alms giving.

” When there is love, you will not see people stealing and killing themselves.

” Also, when there is love, there will be peace, progress and development in the country,” he said.

Ogazi congratulated Christians on the successful celebration of Christmas.

On Consensus over State APC Congresses, Hon. Ogazi commended Gov. Abdullahi Sule and APC for taking wise and right decision.

” The decision for executive members of the party to emerge at all levels through consensus was the right decision and the best because if there will be election of new officials, we will be inviting problems to the party .

” I think His Excellency, Gov. Abdullahi Sule and the party took right decision. This is a take away gift for EXCOs of the party in the state,” he added.

The lawmaker further urged the people of the state to pray and support Gov. Sule, Speaker Danladi Jatau, Honourable members and other leaders to succeed.

He called on the members of the party as well as those, who wish to join the party to go and register with the party via e-registration.

On his Part, Hon. Larry Ven- Bawa, member representing Akwanga North Constituency at the State legislature, while speaking with Newsmen in Akwanga has called on the people of his constituency and Nigerians to continue to live in peace with one another.

He also called on well to do Nigerians to provide succour to the less privileged ones in the society.

” My message to my people and others is the message of peace, let’s all embrace peace.

” This is also time to share, time to live together and time to forgive one another” he said.

Hon. Ven-Bawa congratulated Christians on the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The lawmaker also urged the people of his constituency and the state to continue to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed.

” I want to call on the people of my constituency to support the Government of Engr. A A Sule.

” As Engr. A A Sule is doing well in the State as well as Speaker Danladi Jatau has done well by uniting members of the Assembly,” he said.

Furthermore, member representing Nassarawa Eggon East Constituency at the State legislature Hon. Ajegina Kudu has called on spirited individuals to assist the less privileged ones to better their lots.

” I want to congratulate Christians on the celebration of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ.

” It is time to share whatever we have with the less privileged ones to improve on their standard of living.

” Yesterday, I have distributed cash and items worth more than N9 million to enable my people celebrate Christmas,” he said.

Hon. Kudu called on the people of his constituency and the state to continue to live in unity and peace irrespective of their affiliations.

The lawmaker assured of sound and quality representation at the state legislature.

” I will continue to do more for my people and there is room for improvement,” he added.

Hon. Kudu appreciated Gov. Sule for promoting peace in the state while urging the people of his constituency and the state to continue to support Gov. Sule to succeed.
