Member Representing Awe North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Hon. Hudu A Hudu has doled out N50 Million empowerment programs for his constituents.
This, the Lawmaker said he provided the soccour to his people in fulfillment of his campaign promises, better their lives and give them sense of belonging through provision of democratic dividends.
The Lawmaker who stated this at the lunch of series of programs outlined to mark his Two Years in Office at Emir’s Palace Awe today Saturday reaffirmed his commitment to continues to initiate policies and programs that will have direct impact on the lives of his people.
Hon. Hudu A. Hudu APC Awe North and Chairman House Committee on Finance and Appropriation appreciated his people for giving him the mandate to serve at the State Assembly promised not to let them down.
It was reported that the items distributed and programs lunched at the event includes empowerment of 600 women for different skills, scholarships for over 300 students, commissioning of 10 motorized boleholes across Awe North communities, donation of 10 sound systems to different political groups, flagged off of free medical outreach and free distribution of drugs to over 300 patients as well as Solar Street Lights to over 60 villages among others.
Speaking at the occasion, the State Deputy Governor Dr. Emmanuel Akabe represented by Hon. Muhammed Ibrahim Alkali the Special Adviser to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Legislative Liason and the State APC Chairman Dr. Aliyu Bello scored high the performance of Hon. Hudu A. Hudu describing him as an asset to the ruling party in the State thus assuring him of all the necessary support to enable him succeed and encouraged him to keep the flag flying.
On their parts, Member of the House of Representatives for Doma, Keana and Awe Hon. Abubakar Nalaraba, former House of Representatives member for the zone, Dr. Hashimu and members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly among others gave Hon. Hudu A. Hudu pat on the back for his outstanding leadership qualities and performance at the State legislature saying that he is making a great difference and impacting positively on the lives of his people urging him to sustain the tempo.
Some of the beneficiaries expressed great joy, happiness and appreciation for the lawmaker for touching their lives positively praying God to bless him more just as they assured him of their support beyond 2027 to enable him succeed.
It was reported that the Emir palace Awe, venue of the occasion was full to capacity with loyalists, party supporters, well wishers and praise singers as well as past and present government officials in solidarity with Hon. Hudu A. Hudu whom the Emir of Awe described as a true son of the soil and God-sent to his people.
