Sen. Ahmed Aliyu Wadada, a Governorship aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC), has today Monday visited lawmakers of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly.
The visit of the federal lawmaker to the Nasarawa State House of Assembly today Monday was on consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Wadada was received by the Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau Ph.D alongside all the State Assembly members where he interacted with them and presented his blueprint for the State before they went into closed door session with the parliamenterians.
Sen. Wadada APC and Senator representing Nasarawa West alongside his team addressed members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly where he spoke extensively on his ambition for the number one job and outlined his blueprint before the members of the House in the areas of education, agriculture, economy, security, infrastructure and empowerment among others.
He said that he has paid his dues and deserved to be given the support to be the Governor of the State and consolidate on the achievements of Gov. Abdullahi Sule.
” I have paid my dues. I have contributed immensely to the development of the state”
” I am here to consult and solicit for your prayers and support ahead of my Governorship ambition come 2027″ he said.
Sen. Wadada said that he is more qualified to be the Governor of the State.
” Yes, all of us that are contesting for the Governorship seat of the state have qualifed for the position but there is one that is most qualified to govern the state, which is me” he said.
The APC Gubernatorial Aspirant commended President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Abdullahi Sule for their giant developmental strides.
He called on the people of the state and all and sundry to support President Tinubu and Gov. Sule’s administrations to succeed.
Responding, Dr. Danladi Jatau, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly appreciated Sen. Wadada for consulting with Honourable members of the House including the opposition lawmakers .
He said that Sen. Wadada has contributed immensely to the development of his constituency, zone, the State and the country at large right from the time he was member of the House of Representatives adding that he is qualified for the job.
The Speaker urged Wadada and other Gubernatorial Aspirants in the State to have it at the back of their minds that leadership comes from God.
” We will work with any Governorship aspirant that win the primary election under our platform, APC” he said.
The Speaker also used the occasion to woo other opposition lawmakers to consider the need to join APC so that they can move together and succeed together.
