The Management of Max Air Limited has dismissed the report of flight incident alleging that one of its pilots refused to operate a flight from Maiduguri due to outstanding payments owed by the company.
The airline in a statement on Tuesday described the report as false, misleading, and completely unfounded.
Max Air said it had maintained the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and operational integrity in all its services.
“At no time has any of our pilots or crew members engaged in such conduct as alleged in the said publication.
“Our operations in Maiduguri and across all routes remain fully active and uninterrupted, adhering strictly to both national and international aviation regulations.
“We urge the public and our esteemed passengers to disregard this false report and to rely only on information disseminated through Max Air’s official communication channels.
“Max Air remains committed to providing safe, reliable, and quality air transport services to all our valued customers,” the statement said.
