Mr Mandy David Abuluya, the President Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA), has urged parents to give topmost priority to the education of their children for societal development.
Abuluya, who is the Proprietor, Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga Nasarawa State made the call during the Passing Out Parade of his daughter, Akayi David Abuluya among other graduands at Air Force Girls Military School, Jos, Plateau.
The ECDA President, who underscored the importance of education to human and societal development, called on parents not to give lip service to the education of their children.
“As an educationist, I will continue to encourage parents to give topmost priority to the education of their children
” As no society or nation will achieve meaningful and speedy development without sound education.
” Education is key to societal development,” he said.
Abuluya while congratulating his daughter, Akayi for her successful graduation, assured of his commitment to ensure that she acquired higher education.
” It is not easy for her to spend six years acquiring acknowledge. I want to congratulate her on her successful graduation.
” I want to wish her God’s protection, guidance, blessings and favours in her future endeavours,” he said.
Abuluya, who is the Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC), Nasarawa State, assured of his continued commitment to promote unity, peace among Eggon people and other tribes in the country.
Responding, Miss Akayi David Abuluya, who graduated from Air Force Girls’ Military School, Jos appreciated God and her parents for the training and prayed God to bless them abundantly.
” I want to thank God and my parents for the training and by God’s grace, I will not fail them in life,” she said
Akayi also assured of her continued commitment to take her education seriously.
Some well wishers congratulated Akayi on her successful graduation.
They also expressed joy and appreciated Abuluya for training his daughter morally and educationally.
