Dr Yakubu Kofamata has been assigned as the new Permanent Secretary to the Federal Ministry of Works and has assumed office at the Ministry’s Headquarters in Abuja.

This is disclosed by the Director of Press and Publicity, Mrs Blessing Lere-Adams, Federal Ministry of Works on Saturday in Abuja.

The News Agency of Nigeria NAN (NAN) reports that Kofamata takes over from the outgoing Permanent Secretary, Works and Housing, Mr Mamuda Mamman, who had been supervising both ministries since their merger in August, 2023.

Before his deployment to the ministry of works, Kofamata was the perm. sec for the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

NAN also reports that Mamman has been redeployed to the Federal Ministry of Power. (NAN)
