Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Alh Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has condoled with Nigerians and the entire Egbira Nation over the death of former Chief of Army Staff, General Muhammed Chris Alli.
The Speaker, in a statement by his Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna, on Sunday in Lafia, described the demise of General Chris Alli (rtd) as one death too many to bear for the entire Egbira Nation and Nigeria in general.
The Speaker described the death of the former Chief of Army Staff and Chairman of Ohiku – Egbira Descendants Union, OEDU, as colossal and shocking.
Abdullahi prayed God to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal bliss in his final abode.
The Nasarawa state number three Citizen said his demise will continue to be felt by the entire Egbira people within and outside the country.
Abdullahi described death as a necessary end to all mortals, and enjoined all to see the demise of Alli as the will of God and accept it in good faith.
He sympathized with his immediate family members, friends, associates and the entire Egbira nation as well as the country at large over the painful exit of the great soldier whom he said has left a foot print in the sand of time and will therefore be forever remembered.
