Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approving the conversion of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH) Lafia into the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) Teaching Hospital.
The Speaker gave the commendation while speaking during an expanded APC stakeholders meeting he organized for Kokona LGA today in Garaku.
Jatau also commended Gov Abdullahi Sule for his role in ensuring that the dream of the state to have teaching hospital become reality.
“I want to commend His Excellency, President Ahmed Bola Tinubu GCFR for approving the conversion of the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH) Lafia into the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) Teaching Hospital.
“As having Teaching Hospital in the State will improve on the health status of our people and will bring speedy development to the State” he said.
The Speaker also said that the establishment of Teaching Hospital in the State would create more job opportunities, boost socio-economic activities of the people of the State.
Speaker Jatau assured the people of the State of continued all inclusive leadership in order to promote unity and peace in the State.
He called on the people of the area and the State at large to continue to give their maximum support to President Tinubu and Gov Abdullahi Sule’s administrations to succeed.
The Speaker further called on the people of the State and Nigerians to embrace unity, peace, love and tolerance at all times.
